This was my first time cooking squid, and it was so easy. Rinse, pat dry and slice. I tossed these in a quick coating of corn starch and cooked them a few minutes per side in some shallow oil. Out of the heat and tossed with fresh scallions and parsley, salt and pepper plus 🍋. It satisfied all my cravings for fried calamari at home.

If it was a *normal* year I would totally be sneaking the kids Halloween candy. You know, after they are in bed. This year I took it in broad daylight and made these halloween candy blondies from @bromabakery and eat them WITH the kids. And I will be making more this weekend. Pro tip: don’t gorge on them right out of the oven, I think they are more perfect next day!
