I’m a cookbook author, journalist and proud mom of three beautiful kids. My kitchen is in Boston (and sometimes Nantucket) and it’s usually filled with fresh ingredients, a bit of a mess and stools and high chairs pulled up to the counter. Years ago, mealtime with my very curious and very hungry little girl inspired my first collection of recipes – 76 illustrated guides to fresh, simple snacks and meals.
Fresh Made Simple was published in 2015 and I’ve been writing recipes and crafting recipe videos ever since.
Feeding a family is a full time job that we are all squeezing in to the spare moments we find late at night, early in the morning and when the food was supposed to be on the table an hour ago. Everything I do in the kitchen is to help make that process easier and a bit more fun for families.
Before I spent so much time in the kitchen I was a journalist for Reuters. I’ve also written for the Boston Globe, Boston magazine, Boston Business Journal and Eat Boutique.

It doesn’t take much to turn a few fresh ingredients into simple dishes.
